Janine from Resource CIC – ReForm Plastics Project
Janine runs a Social and environmental enterprise in North Wales called Resource CIC. They have an innovative community plastics project getting people involved in the process of turning waste plastics into other useful objects.
Janine’s workshop at Radical Bakers will work through the whole process:
- Identifying plastic types and sorting plastics.
What we can do with the plastic.
Shredding plastic (manual shredding machine).
Using heat to create other useful items.
Damaged or broken items can be recycled or repaired
Janine aims to inspire people to understand the precious nature of plastic and how we can use plastics time and again.
