Disposable Vapes, what a nightmare. These nicotine dispensers contain rechargeable lithium batteries that just get thrown away. Blake from Green Dragon Productions will be showing us how to repurpose the batteries to make useful (or at least pretty) things. This workshop will be on Friday 8th Sept at our Harvest Camp 2023.

Please do not collect or bring damaged disposable vapes as they can pose a fire risk. They contain rechargeable lithium batteries that can catch fire if pierced or shorted out.

The batteries inside these disposable products are li-ion jellyroll 13350 500mAh 3.7V nominal (4.2V charged) cells. We will parallel 4 cells in each 2000mAh pack with charge and discharge at .5C (1A) via TP4056 with DW01/2 protection. Here are specs for this generic type of battery used in disposable vapes:
