Tom will be talking about and demonstrating Wine Fermentation. He will be running 2 sessions and a wine-tasting. Tom’s wine is delicious and we will be selling it at the Bakers Arms…
- Harvesting for Brewing Wine. A walk around the hedgerows of Crabapple, looking at what you can make wine out of, and picking the ingredients for setting off a 25L barrel from what is ready to pick.
- Prepping a Wine Ferment. I describe the core ingredients to make a wine, several different ways to prepare the ingredients, as we prep the ingredients from the day before using several different styles.
- Wine Tasting. I lay out a dozen different types of wine, and supply small sturdy glasses and rinsing system with which people can try all the different wine types, I can demonstrate blending, and describe what went wrong/right/why/could be different.
